Matt Collins serves as the Managing Member of The Mainspring Group, a specialty firm focused on helping private regional homebuilders identify and take the right next steps on their own journey toward operational excellence in the areas of purchasing, estimating, production, scheduling, sales, and marketing. His experience goes back more than two decades, spending some time working for building materials stores and then transitioning into homebuilding where he has served in senior operational leadership roles for large regional builders as a VP of Operations, VP of Homebuilding, and Chief Operating Officer. Eager to expand his impact, Matt and The Mainspring Group now focus on helping small to mid-size builders fully leverage their existing technology platforms while building basic process competence. This approach helps builders to increase their agility and operational effectiveness leading to improved customer satisfaction and better bottom lines.
